Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on the 9th of February 1997 to her biological Filipino parents. Her grandmother lived in the areas of slums for three years until she turned 3 years old when she was adopted. Her adopted father, a Philippine-American from a military background, has a white background and is American. Her mother claims that she and her brother who was adopted when a baby, were abused until they enlisted. Her family lived with her uncle at San Francisco for several months prior to moving back home Texas to celebrate her 13th birthday due to the need of her father to undergo bypass surgery. She says the physical abuse subsided after a short time, however, she had to suffer from the psychological abuse her father inflicted on her. At the age of 18, she enlisted in her first service in the United States Navy. Poarch started her TikTok in April 2020, rapidly gaining fame. The site grew to more than 40 millions fans within less than eight months. Millie B's video Soph Aspin Send, which is now a big hit for Millie B was her greatest achievement. The video that was zoomed in of her moving her lips and jumping to the melody was a huge hit and became one of the most-viewed TikTok videos ever. In order to capitalize on the popularity gained since signing up to TikTok in December 2016, Poarch created YouTube and Twitter profiles. The popularity of Poarch grew exponentially in November 2020. The actress reportedly caught the attention of two professional Esports teams. 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan expressed interest in employing her as a content creator under their respective brands.
