Canadian screen actress who became famous for her character Bo Dennis on Lost Girl. CBSs Blood & Treasure has been her residence since. Other credits include Earthstorm from 2006 and The Perfect Neighbor, which she was a part of in 2005. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada the daughter of Peter Silk an academic and his wife Ilkay an actress producer playwright educator and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's first experiences were seeing her mother work as well as attending rehearsals for plays. Silk made several commercials when she was young. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. In the beginning of her theater career she participated in 2 Theatre St. Thomas productions: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Samuel Levi and Levi are the sons of Seth Cooperman. The actress landed her first significant role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus in the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. CNN has ranked Bo Dennis as well as Lauren Assante among the best TV Couples ever. E! Magazine also named her the best TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
