Annette Funicello's dancer was discovered in Fullerton California by Walt Disney at the age of 13 years old. To the displeasure of the Mickey Mouse Club co-stars, Funicello became a part of the cast in the series's debut season, and wasn't required to audition. Disney took the right choice and she soon became The Mickey Mouse Club's best performer with her unique Adventures in Dairyland storyline. Funicello needed to record records in order to realize her superstar ability. Annette was not very enthusiastic about her singing, so Disney enlisted Tutti camerata as her manager to assist her in becoming a singer. Funicello ultimately got comfortable with making records and genuinely loved having a working relationship with Camerata among the very few arrangements of the 40s who had the fundamental foundations of rock music. Annette Sings Anka was the third record, possibly the first to include the rock music of singers as a part of the music repertoire. Funicello was the lead in Beach Party, one of five movies about a beach party that were immensely successful. Most often, the film starred Frankie Avalon, these films are made by AIP however the scripts for every film were personally accepted and read by Walt Disney to maintain Annette's clean image. The film cars of Funicello were used to upset other performers. Stevie Wonder was in Muscle Beach Party.
